I’m sharing this client experience to raise awareness about the need to protect your business from cyber-attacks, natural disasters and human error.
We recently acquired a client who was doing their own IT work and thought they lost their data due to a ransomware attack. The ransomware attack corrupted data in all the computers and servers on their network. Fortunately, we able to partially restore data from an external hard drive that wasn’t connected during the attack. However, the restored data was more than a year old because the low-end backup system wasn’t running properly. In essence, the client's business was down for almost a month, they lost thousands of dollars, lost their most recent year of critical client data, and lost many of their larger clients because of the ransomware attack. A company in business for over 20 years almost closed their doors because of not having the right solution in place. In today's age, all businesses are in some way connected to the internet (and depend on it too), whether you are a retail store, coffee shop, doctor's office, hotel, office, etc. If you are connected to the internet, you need protection, a plan to keep your business running in case of disaster and professionals monitoring & supporting your business. Cyber-criminals target small businesses at a higher rate because they know there is usually no IT personnel monitoring and running maintenance. We are here to put an end to that by working with you and setting your business up with affordable, customized solutions that meet all your business needs.

Cremo Network Solutions had a successful year welcoming new clients in 2018. We added franchises to our portfolio while continuing work with some of our recurring partners.
In New York, we continued our work with a chemical laboratory while gaining an educational center, real estate management company and an auto servicing establishment. Within Florida, we continued our work with a well-known ice cream brand while aiding in their expansion process. We also added a few restaurant franchisees, standalone vendors and an educational centers. Throughout the course of our work, we continually focused on ensuring the relative branches of compliance were addressed for each client: PCI Compliance for Hospitality (restaurants, retail, hotels, etc.) and Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) for Educational facilities (i.e. learning centers, libraries, schools, etc.). Coming later this year will be adding focus to HIPAA compliance for our clients in the Healthcare industry. At Cremo Network Solutions we are actively working on partnering with reliable companies that have provided services to Healthcare facilities. By combining our resources, services, and experience, we can offer both small and larger facilities the IT solutions needed to operate in a HIPAA compliant environment. This aids in avoiding audits and fines from the US Department of Health. As always, feel free to reach out for more information, a question, a referral, or just to say hello (info@cremosolutions.com - 954-361-3742). We look forward to continue building with you in 2019. |
